The concept behind the mood board is to show the warm colors and oriental design that the site tried to portray and failed. in my redesign i will fully utilize the color palette to give it a homely feel to it.

Project Concept Proposal

From the feedback that I have collected, I have found out that the current website which is pohkong.com.my is lacking a lot in depth of design and user interaction. The pro’s of the webpage remains to be their navigation which is direct and simple. For this project, the main purpose it to redesign it to establish a great depth of design so that users can relate to it more and not just for convenience but build a relation to it.

The scope of this project is to renew a well known brand that has been in the market for a time and is well known to the Malaysian people. I will start off by introducing a user interface that allows users to view product in their actual size and to give them a selected price range menu which is lacking in many of the jewelers web site.

Next would be establish a design which the users can relate to and feel right at home.

The limit to this page would be in it’s design sense and navigation as we do not wish to confuse or irritate the users by over clouding the design. Our design aim is simple, to produce a web page which is simple and has a warm and homely relationship. The webpage in whole however aims to keep the users here and gain new one’s as we move on.

Overall Site analysis

The site is sufficient at the basic level but it leave nothing to be desired for, it will only fulfill its duty which is to inform people who is in need of the information but will not keep them there or to reel them back. User interaction will be greatly introduce such as booklet download, memberships, customer support and product interaction. Open search on major search engine shows poh kong as the top of the list and users count is desirable.

Short and long term site goals

Our long term goal is to open a relationship to the users so that they will stay as loyal customers. The short term goal is to lead users to the promotion that is going on which aims at seasonal promotions.

Target Audience

The target audience for this site is clearly noted on their navigation, company profile and site design which is users at the age of mid 30’s till late 50’s in other words matured adults.

How to make a simple photography package

my tutorial will be about teaching the community that photography can be simple and light on the wallet. my concept that i am using is that "photography is simpler than getting your kids to do what you want" as you all know working with kids or taking care of kids can be quite hard. so i used it in my website to show how easy photography can be.my mood board reflects alot of the website, as i want sumthing mature, clean and simple. i used lots of diffrent tone of black on white and a dash of bright colors. i used patterns as well to add in characteristic and most of the inspiration comes from firefox web page.The flow chart starts with an enter page that is in swf format, once users click inside they will be directed to the main page. from the main page we will be shown 5 other nav bar which is gallery, contact, download, news and tutorials. for the news sub group we have a blogroll page, and a happening page for events. the download will be devided into 3 group which is the pinhole, studio and lightbox. Gallery will have 2 page which is the pinhole gallery and macro gallery.

the enter page will be in swf file, the reason being i want to show the movement of the pattern and color

*the below thumbs is the 3rd trail which solve the clutter issue and the complaint that it has too much black.
This was done just recently as i still find the previous few too clutter, this one is neater, the nav bar is smaller and more big white spacing which i plan to have. furthermore this layout enables me to use my pics in a more spacious and focus area.Tutorial txt page, as you can see the pages are more comfortable, txt are easily readble and navigation is more user frenly.

still have alot to do, this layout is a very rough idea. still havent put in associated company, logo placement and proper nav control, txt havent been inserted either.

Oh freaking blank, I can go online once again! I am currently going online at work now. Yes, I am working once again… and not as a designer, more as a fashion advisor or also known as sales assistant (just trying to sound Professional) Well I work in a shop that sells bags and heels, yes! It’s a chic shop, so far it’s been great, my supervisor “Theng Theng” has been great, I been learning a lot about designer bags and also the feared heels that guys all so hate to choose for a lady.

Final term is this week; I think I have finally screwed up my sleeping schedule when I woke up at 4pm Sunday evening. Besides that I don’t feel sick anymore during 5a.m in the morning…. So yeah, luckily we got 1 month of well deserve rest.

Speaking of Sunday, Sunway Selangor was just visited by a great tour called “passion world tour” I wouldn’t call them a passion tour, more like an igniter tour cause they seriously put back the flame of God into me, for the past three months I thought I have lost it. Now I try to give thanks daily for what he has given to me. We had an amazing worship session and a strong sharing of a born again believer named Ashley. After the conference we went out for dinner and introduce Judy and Ian to Chola Spice famous Ice Moroo! Damn that’s one good drink (for party that is)

btw, after a long absence from Dota I can still manage to represent VU cluster for the Dota tournament in Emerge 2008. Emerge will be held at the end of august 29^th-31^st, it’s a must go event for this month! I heard that we will be inviting Jay Chow this year.

There’s a first thing for everything in KL, including being approach by a gay guy in the gym (SWT!) now that’s the last time I am going to the gym in the afternoon. Finals to complete, Shoes to be racked, Assignments to be compiled and God to be lifted high. Term Break in 1 week!

Today was Ps. Kevin last sermon on “Does fairy tale love exist” it was a good wrap up, won’t be talking much about it. Emerge KL is coming up as well, this year I’ll be joining Lan Gaming CS and Dota, Bag Design and photography. Besides that I went to scream park last Saturday, the park itself was freaking expensive but overall it was quite scary if it wasn’t for the freaking guy in front of us who kept scaring the ghost instead of the ghost scaring us. After that we met a group of actors walking around pyramid that was promoting dinning at pyramid, they had to stay stationary for at least 5 mins.

After that we had a nice dinner at ole Bali, the food is nice and I would really like to go Bali to try out the real deal.

Cozy "little" Corner

I moved into my new room on the 9th of June, monday night. So far its still the best decision, its a master bedroom with attached big bathroom, wardrobe and lots of secret compartment to store my stuff =D I have a little comfortable spot where my workstation is, its warm and cozy at night but the sun glare is killing me in the evening, still trying to cover up my window. I am happy cause now i have AIR-CONDITIONING! and you all know how the city can be without it. rental is damn cheap for this area, RM650 with bills and i am splitting it with my room mate.

Besides that i manage to set up a proper workstation now,bought myself a second monitor screen so that i can watch movie and do assignment at the same time or read tutorials online and use design software on the other screen to follow it. its just damn useful and i am glad i bought it, the only set back is that my computer cant handle the second monitor that well and a sudden outburst of programs will crash my laptop.

Assignments just don't seem to stop coming... hell each assignment seems like a final project to me now. i like all the subject for this term but some how i have a certain dislike to most of my lecturer this term, YES Typo now sucks cause of Lily!

Blogging is becoming such a drag for me as I progress in life, the lack of internet and also the will to do it. Maybe I should stop, but yet again something in me push me to continue.

Pastor Kevin new series on “Does fairy tales exist?” started three weeks ago, and all I can say that it’s a great series. It help those who are seeking for a relationship and those who are in a relationship, not to mention the way ps. Kevin been preaching is just damn hilarious and true.

My life so far been going quite steady, currently very broke and over spending because I am moving into a new place and also a lot of my friends seems to have chosen this month to come down to KL which made me even more broke. I am trying to find a job now, thinking of going part time but I am seriously worried that I do not have enough time.

I’ll be moving in to my new room this coming Monday, hopefully I can convince my new housemate to share his streamyx connection.

Well with me having quite a change after posting my first blog entry, I can just say 1 thing: “it feels damn good be living again” I quit Dota for some of your information in order to pursue a better way of life, I was addicted to that game. Constantly slaving myself to the computer screen just for an hour of pleasure and misery. With Dota gone I am able to concentrate more on watching movies that I downloaded, spent more time at the gym, have more time to sleep, spent more time with my girl friend and more time to learn what I have thrown away (designing of course). I am still trying to change the way I view my assignments though, my assignments still pile up to the very last minute and I still procrastinate.

I ate TGI today, it was my first time and I had a nice meal. The atmosphere was very cheerful and noisy, the food was nice and the service was quite good. Besides that I got Doreen to wear something pretty today. We had the 3 course meal, Mac and cheese for starters, Sirloin Steak for main course, chicken and Friday’s Sundae. It was filling and enjoyable.

I am currently reaching the end of my semester, finished two finals and in fear that I may fail one because of waking up late. I had to forfeit my 50% marks on the final thesis so that my group members would not fail, the job is easy but the pay is painful. Besides that I still have another 3 more subject to go, Batik for Visual communication, Interactive page for Digital Multi Media and Interior Design for Perspective. I’ll be heading back on the 3^rd of April hopefully.

I’ve been quite busy and productive for the past few days, having little evening jogs around the neighborhood finding for a new place to stay because my contract with the current holder is about to end in June, and I am fed up with living in a freaking sauna room. I also applied for numerous jobs online to work from home, currently employed as a freelancer under a new company named Palette House. Pay isn’t much compare to my old freelancing days at least my allowance doubles now, hopefully it will provide me with a new place to stay, a better one in fact. Besides that I manage to gain a small project with a fish breeder thanks to a friend of mine, the project was half done by my friend but she ended up having to concentrate on her finals so I was brought in by her. Hopefully I can collect another 1k from this project to cover up my moving expenses. I am also retaking my studies in coding and scripting as my current portfolio is useless without it. everyone is looking for a web designer with knowledge of coding now a days.

Lets not forget competitions, I am going to join in 2 T-shirt design competition held by Tropicana life and graniph, the prize are both very attractive in term of cash and item. I do encourage all of you who have experience to join. click on the pictures for more info

Happy Moments

Happiest moments in my life, this is a scam by me to win some cash =D so bare with me. All this are however very true.

I’ll post about my recent happenings that made me happy

This month happiest moments falls on Valentine’s day, it was special because I was celebrating it with someone that wasn’t my girl friend (until that day was over that is) My plan got a bit screwed up in the middle but all went well after that. The plan was to make her sad the day before valentine day which work out pretty well, who said Drama class was a waste?

Early morning during Valentine’s Day, I was already late for class rushing showered and ran to my usual printing shop to get the letters printed out and with only ten minutes to hide and position each letters at their correct place. The plan was hard, to act as the mysterious guy who surprise her with letters. The first one was located at her main door, the second at her mail box, third during her tutorial class, fourth after her class and fifth during her perspective class. The first 2 clue didn’t work out well but the 3^rd clue did make it into her hands accompanied by a box of chocolate. Somehow she sort of guess it was me but still in doubt as I swear I would never do this sort of action. My friends told me she smiled instantly =D that was with a box of chocolates, let’s see the next clue.

“you are required to go down to the main entrance of J block to collect it”

The third clue required her to give me a miss call, how did she know who to call? My new number was inserted with the 1^st clue “I will however give you my contact number which is 012- 833 5252” after receiving the miss call, I called up my florist to deliver the flowers to her which was a bouquet of white lily’s with a dozen champagne roses. If the chocolates made her smile, guess what the flowers did? =D my mystery was somehow destroyed by my florist as I forgot to show her how she look like and my 3 friends wasn’t there to direct the florist to her. The florist gave away my identity by shouting my name rite in front of the crowd… immediately realizing I was the one she gave me a call. At least we manage to finish half of the clue.

After meeting up with her for lunch I gave her the last clue “I’ll be arriving at your door step at 6pm sharp” wasn’t much surprise already so I handed the clue to her myself with her real valentine’s day gift which was tickets to the actors studio Bangsar to watch a musical play “Broadway Musical” she always wanted to attend one of the show. We left our place at 6.30pm by cab to Bangsar, our driver was pretty friendly and I was thankful that I actually called a taxi service rather than catching one on the road. We had our dinner at W.I.P which was a semi fine dining restaurant, our meal came with complimentary red wine which wasn’t half bad, and we also ordered our own cocktail / mocktail and a glass of water. All in all we had 6 glass of beverage on our table, and they even recommend us to take the champagne. The dinner was nice; sirloin
steak was small but filling. Even the long island tea gave me more kick then I expected, was feeling a little dizzy after drinking this normally harmless cocktail. Her mocktail how ever was much friendlier.We join the crowd at 8.15p.m which mostly consist of civilized people and foreigners. The musical was good, my first time to a real musical it consist of 4 sopranos which was 2 male and 2 female. They did a good job and somehow got me hooked on Phantom of the opera (so hook on it that I am doing my final projects based on that) the musical ended after two hours and we were served with fondue and red wine, the wine was better than those we had at dinner but the waiters took their time opening each bottle. We went home happy and tired, her smile alone made my day worthwhile, even if that day alone cost me a bomb it was worth it because that was the happiest moment I had for this year. Her smile is my joy =D

And she said “yes”

Mine on the other hand have gone through numerous facelift and address change to keep up with time, my first blog was http://www.xanga.com/Blizzard1c3l0rD to http://www.xanga.com/FuRiouS_BlizZaRD , I started my third blog with the hope of a shorter url which was http://www.xanga.com/Blizzard89 , this was also the start of my freelance business. My last blog ended up here at http://s-o-o.blogspot.com a more personal and semi professional blog to start of my web portfolio. The reason I chose BlogSpot is easy, they allow you more freedom than any weblog that I have gotten my hands on. My blog however have been quite inconsistent as it goes with my mood swings, lately I decided that life can’t just depend on mood swings so I am trying my best to change and come back to be more serious in matters. Blogging isn’t just a tool to communicate, it’s a tool to socialize and to gain knowledge, but as a designer or any work seeking person, it works as your social identity.

Blizzard.art will be my starting point of an online web portfolio from now on, learning and striving to excel as I did during my freelancing days in Sabah. Expect regular updates for at least twice a week excluding weekends.

the reason behind this name is easy; Soo is my family surname what better way to make it famous by promoting it with your identity. Besides that Soo is also a lot shorter than Kelvin or blizzard so it makes and excellent URL for clients and friends to memorize.

My family can be said as a new generation family because it isn’t a big one; my family consists mostly of me, my sis and my parents. I don’t always get to visit my bigger family which has my aunties, uncles; cousins etc. one of the reason being that my family moved to east Malaysia even before I was born, making me the only Sabahan in my family. My family is closely knitted, believing in traditional and also new age culture of today’s society, we have an open minded thinking about living life. However we believe that keeping a few traditions is important to keep the family happy and united.

Kelvin
Here’s a reason for reading this entry, so that you get to know more about me. I am Kelvin, your typical lazy guy who loves to procrastinate. Amazingly my works are always done on time and I do pride myself in it. Doing my design work during the very last minute can be stressful but it is also damn exciting. The pressure and adrenaline that builds up during the very last minute give me that spark and extra creative juice flowing. It is a bad habit of mine, but it’s a habit that gets me the designs. I am not saying I can’t design without a deadline, I just find it more exciting to have one and actually finishing my design on the deadline itself. Throughout my years of experience I have never let any of my projects go down the drain except for my Dad’s company branding job and school assignments. Overall I finish them all and also without lacking the aesthetic beauty of my work, a work of mine that lacks aesthetic beauty and quality will be rejected by me even without going through the public eyes, I may be ignorant at times but I find standing up for what you believe in is important. Next, I am currently in West Malaysia studying the course which I have aim to take since I was form 3. Quit my freelancing job back in Sabah to pursue my studies in Multi Media Design (take note that Multi and Media are separated) 1^st year 3^rd term. Dating and unavailable, it’s a bragging rite because I find her to be exactly what I wanted in a partner. I think we would stop here for now as I have so much to tell.

Promise to a new life, promised to an old life
This sentence will make and break me as I continue my journey of change. It is confusing to those who does not read carefully and also will meant a lot of meaning to those that do. I for one will take it as a gentle reminder to break my old promise and to full fill my new one.

I know It been ages since I last updated, well hello and welcome back to s-o-o blog. Been quite a month for me, having finished a term in The One Academy and going back to KK for a week. The ten days back in KK was fun and relaxing, I manage to sleep at 1AM everyday! That’s something good you know! Meeting up with all the old faces and old friends not to mention some troublesome monkeys too.

I had to come back early because I wanted to catch Emerge KL! OMG that’s what I am going to say! Emerge KL is just awesome; those that miss it should really be hitting your head on the wall now. It’s five times better than any conference I been too, preaching was great, worship was a blast, performance was amazing, and competitions was spectacular.

But today post isn’t really about those; I just wanted to remember this day. I know I really been an ass previously, past mistakes do come back and haunt me but I just want to say one word to all of you “HAHA!” yeah whatever you are doing… who you are… I don’t really care; well I didn’t really care since last year. Enough said! FYI TAXI DRIVERS IN SUBANG ARE STUPID MORONS WHO THINK WE STUDENTS ARE EASILY CHEATED! Well yeah some of them are, but if they pull another stun like that I am going to pull the hand break and whack the guy.Next,

I just want to thank a person. Knowing you for the past month been great, loving you wasn’t a mistake, being with you was enjoyable, learning from you was eye opening and breaking up with you was heart breaking. Today I am glad we settled everything, even thought a part of me was heavy hearted to accept it but a part of me was also glad that we did it. I also thank you for actually being there under the stars with me today and to hold my hand when I needed it, to hug me when I cried and to share the pain of being beaten by mosquitoes. I manage to learn quite a number of things from you even if you didn’t realize it; I’ll try to practice it daily. Besides that I’ll still be waiting for all those secrets that you owe me, even if those secrets may harm me I think it would be better to know them so that I can change for the future. I lost a heart today but I found a friend, let’s see that the promise we made tonight stays forever. By the way, all the stuff you did is forgiven cause you gave me “A kick” since I used that so much as an excuse for not forgiving you.

Term Starts next week! Can’t wait to get back in class, I miss my crap friends back in Sabah already and I feel like moving to Mentari Court with my friends so I can have an enjoyable College Life.

Back Sliding

I was on the brink of falling as I slip down the slopes to failure; luckily I still had a friend out there to grab my hand. It’s been pretty bad for me for the past two weeks when I had to dislodge myself from my usual group of friends, so now everyday it’s quite hard for me to go out for lunch as I have to change my position every day. Besides that, our term is almost up with final projects, redo’s, extra credit assignment and the normal assignment not to mention the compilation of all these finally got to be handed up. I am rushing everything now, in hope that I would not fail this term. But the most fucked up thing about the whole two weeks was that everyone was pissing me off, from the stupid moron that SMS me daily, *i am doing this not for you but because i dont want you two to have a problem over a small matter, so if you do not stop it i will not hold back*, stupid retards retake student who speak without going through their comment sense, my constantly gossiping bunch of friend until I totally snapped at them. Oh it was my fault all right and I am happy that I made that choice because apparently people like those are worth a lot of trouble.

So back to my life, I had a few interesting events happening also. Among those highlight was salsa night with a few of second class student, group studies which happened a lot, movies, and meeting of a few new friends. Besides that Emerge KL is in full swing and it’s a lot of fun, I manage to join chess and shoe design (was actually pulled into joining man hunt O.o and SMS shootout but I am going to reject those) *yeah I know that really made you laugh.

The weekend for me had been quite good, after taking my own week break from all that assignment I was able to concentrate in cell, church and my spiritual self. Pastor Kevin Loo is not to say a great preacher but what he preaches is what we are really going through in our life and that he really understand what this generation of people needs. The way he preach is very relax, just as if he was talking to his own group of friends wearing just a jeans and t-shirt up on stage to preach but do not be fooled by what I said because the way he dress is as if he was a rock star, he’s dressing is simple yet out of the crowd unlike many others.

Just last week he shared about what was in my mind ever since I was a Christian. He preaches about us Christian being too safe living in a self contain society that we deny what is happening around us. I find this very true with certain Christian around Malaysia and sadly I have to say GCC is one of them, this isn’t wrong actually but it also clash with what God wants us to do which is to reach out to the lost. Even pastor William knows of this and is changing. That’s why he sends a few of the staff member to CHC Singapore for training. What CHC is teaching us here is that we shouldn’t be living in our safe zone but step out of our comfort zone. I am sorry to stopped half way but the matter seems to be too delicate to be explain here, if you really want to know by all means contact me or even better come and join us at CHCKL every Saturday 5.30 to 7.30, Sunday 9.30 to 11.30 and 11.30 to 1.30. Oh I still love GCC, after all it’s my first spiritual home, just that time is changing and if we do not act we will be left behind.

Today’s service was long but good, “the pursuit of spiritual maturity” a journey which is undertaken until the end of your life. Maturity cannot progress in the absence of trails and testing, mature believers take initiative. Spiritual maturity is not just the ability to hear God’s voice, but to execute God’s intensions. Other than that I also learned that emotions and experience should not always be trusted, instead God’s words should be put first into consideration.

So much words and I still haven’t said what I did today, I woke up quite early today when Jere called me up for breakfast, he arrived at my door step quite early and I had to quickly take my morning shower. Called Doreen to join us for breakfast at Medan food court and Jere brought Hilda along also. Then we went to Pyramid to buy tickets for afternoon show of the Simpsons movie. After that went to Academy Library to borrow book and do a little research and meeting up with Shee Ree. I also went to cut my hair today, tried a new hair stylist and he did quite a good job as he explain in detail why he cut my hair in certain ways and all. Just like having a teacher teaching me about hair styling hahahaha. We watched the 1.40pm movie, the Simpsons were as I would say “Random” nothing special just your normal slap stick jokes of randomness which gets boring after a while. The funniest thing about the movie outing was that the four of us were split up, me and Doreen taking one end of the row and Shee Ree with Ah Fatt at the other end of it, we had to shout to communicate to each other but surely not during the movie. After that went for a drink at Uncle Lim’s, quite normal and pricy also as most of the food in Sunway is expensive. During the cluster meeting in church I manage to meet a few new cluster mates and was drag to join a fashion competition, (Harajuku = Japanese fashion aka. Lala fashion) the funniest was that they drag me into joining man hunt. *I will not talk about this anymore! Laugh all u want!

Do you want me to get started on Harry Potter? among the best children fairy tale i have read "simple yet challenging" and for those Christian parents that are banning thier kids from reading it? the more you stop them, the more lost they become so why not let them read it and then teach them properly for God's sake its just a children fairy tale! I for one do not addore it but the way she writes is just so mind grabbing and story wise, its very emotional, full of action and brings back so many lost memories of mine that i had during my childhood years. I give it a good 8 out of 10, had to because there were so many stupid grammar mistakes and miss spelled.

Splash Time

The hot weather is back and I miss the rain already, even though it’s raining a lot back in Sabah but over here it’s like a little hell just appeared, it didn’t rain for the past four days already.

Monday was splash time organize by One Academy very own Student Service Department, it didn’t suck but they didn’t plan it properly. It wasn’t what I expected they didn’t split the group properly and it was suppose to get us to know the lecturers and other course mate better but the only people I manage to get to know is my very own class mates, a few people from second class and a photographer. They should split every one up so that we can mingle around more.
The whole day was fun, we ran around the whole park looking for clues and riding the park’s ride. My group members were Kahrou, Kellie, Judy, Joyce and me, crap the only guy again. We had to find four clues located around the Whole Park and 1 hour 45 min to find it. All went well we had a head start but ended up among the last because we suck in finding stuff hahaha. But overall was fun, after the whole thing we went around riding the rides and then meeting up with the other class mates at the surf beach.

Our day ended as we got ready to have our lunch, talk about day light robbery food there cost a bomb, RM6 for a burger! Damn those crazy people in Sunway. After that I went home to catch quick nap before rushing off for prayer meeting. Prayer meeting was like usual; Hilda left for Hong Kong today so this week no more cell. After cell we went to SS2 Sri Murni for dinner/ yim cha/ supper. It was nice but service there is quite slow since there are only two waiters and a lot a lot of people, I ordered the mango special and Banana mix strawberry special everyone stared at amazement because that was a lot of drink. All I could say was “I am super thirsty these few days” ate Nasi Goreng Chicken Marry land which was so much that I couldn’t finish it and then we went back home.

Reach home around mid night and I started my pattern box which was my midterm assignment, and I screwed up badly. I was rushing it under stress and tired condition, ended up falling asleep on the table and doze off. The next day I woke up at 10a.m already being late I quickly finished off the pattern box in an hour and went to class, thank God that Irene accepted my late submission it was really bad the workmanship totally suck and it was very messy not to mention incomplete….. Haiz stupid replacement class. I spent the rest of my day with Doreen; we went to buy groceries and had to carry the big bag all the way to her house under the super hot sun. Fell asleep at her place because she had air con and I was super tired. Ended up waking at 7 and she cooked dinner for me~ Yummy we had pasta with conned beef sauce, I tried making dessert for the both of us with longan and cincau but failed cause I didn’t cut the cincau small enough. Went home around 10pm and clean up my room.

Went I said clean I didn’t mean just a broom and mop, I turned my room upside down and clean out every nook and cranny. Change the bed sheet washed everything including the toilet, OH THE HORROR! I don’t think I would push on the subject of sharing a toilet with a girl…. I remodeled my room to make it bigger and added in a few stuff like a paper rack, thumb board, picture frame. Happy! I finished cleaning at 2a.m

A hypocrite, and proud of it!

I am a hypocrite and I won’t deny it! I teach but I do not practice, I tell but do not do, I promise but I break it. This is my character, not a flaw for I am not happy about it but proud of it because even a hypocrite can teach another something better in life. Hypocrite in the Greek word means acting, some may say I am a wolf in sheep clothing but why not a sheep in wolf clothing? I would view myself more of a sheep in wolf clothing because I do bad things but in nature I would love to do a lot more good things, who wouldn’t?

A hypocrite I may be, and a hypocrite I shall be! Proud to be one so why don’t you live with it?! At least you learn from what I thought you.

The past two weeks been bad for me, had a few modification with my social life here as I been moving about from group to group I don’t think sticking to one group of friends in appropriate. Had a minor argument with my friend in the group. And then my bank account is almost empty again, my spending has increase from RM20 per day to RM45 per day. Besides that annoying people are popping up again, my relationship is having problem. I haven’t bought water for the past one month, out of candy supply.

But today was the best of all day! I got robbed for the first time in my neighborhood, had RM40 ripped away from me…. the guy asked for my hand phone but years of playing with knife thought me that a kitchen knife is damn lousy when it comes to cutting meat so I went ahead and kick him off his bike. I don’t mind giving my money away but my hand phone?! That’s unacceptable, had to kick him off and asked him to go away before I call my friend out. Why I was robbed? Of all day I decided to dress like a nerd today without combing my hair, short khaki pants, and leather shoes, oh and I think the stripe shirt did the job for making me nerdy…. Not to mention I went to buy lunch for my friend at the other end of the Taman and had to carry my file and bag. I knew something like that would happen cause as I was walking I saw the biker kept staring at me as he ride pass, who wouldn’t rob you when your hands are full and you look like a nerd? Hahaha but overall I am thankful that nothing serious happen, just that I didn’t take down the guys license plate to tell the police.

After that incident happen right outside the gate of my friend’s house I called her out and gave her the lunch. We had lunch together and then I did my assignment there as she had the great and mighty air conditioning unit there. Oh I miss my air- con! We had a good lunch and laugh about it also, and also how dangerous our neighborhood was. I started my assignment soon after that and at the end we ended up playing cards because it was boring. We played speed and cho tai dee, lose to her in speed but I won in cho tai dee, years of playing in class didn’t go to waste. Losers get their hand painted with nail polish; by the way remember not to paint nail polish on your skin as it is hard to remove!

Dinner at the nearby hawker centre and I went back home, overall a good day don’t you think?
So my weekend was good, Pastor Kong came down from Singapore to preach about the cultural mandate, even thought I manage to attend only one out of eight session it still blessed my life to know that God wants us to move in a new way, the market place is an untapped resource for gathering new friends and it’s a very successful area as everyone in this world depends on the market place. But I still prefer Pastor Kevin’s preaching as its more closer to home and more focused on the students and young adults. We had dinner around 10p.m and it was great as I get to know my cell member’s more closely even thought they are going to leave soon I am glad I have met them.

But before church I went out with Dory Dory for lunch and movie, lunch was quite ok as we ate at the cha siu fan shop. Movie turned into bowling as all the tickets were sold out and she didn’t know how to bowl so I thought her the basic of it. Overall a fun day and I bought new socks.

This week is exploration week, a time where we get a week holiday that don’t feel like a holiday. We were given a week off to do research and create mock up for out final project furthermore all midterm project must be finished by the end of the week. So yeah no holiday for me! Just that I get to wake up late and do more assignment.

Fathers are Lover's not Fighter's

A whole weekend of praise and worship, thanks to Anson for dragging me along to the PlanetShaker conference it wasn’t only fun, it was spiritual also. From there I have learn something about myself since I join City Harvest, I came to realize that my spirit for worship have actually matured a lot and changed I don’t really jump much anymore and don’t really feel the need to be shy also. I have come to worship God in my own true way and the way which I am most comfortable with. Besides that I come to love slow songs more now a day and can actually get in touch with the inner spirit rather than just energizing it with fast and spirit lifting songs. Planetshakers was good, I still love the way Pastor Matt Fielder preach in the super humorous way and also his childlike and outreaching method he was preaching about how we should give and give with all our heart and spirit. Oh the church we went to was RLC I think, what’s with church and long names… it was big that I can say, I was in awe at the lighting OMG so many lights but they didn’t use it to the fullest.

The main attraction which was the planetshaker worship team did really well esp. when there was a short circuit and everything went silent they still manage to entertain the crowd till the very end. I was also amaze by Mike Webber for the first time, I been hearing about him from Anson for so long and now only I realize how great of a drummer he is. The way he plays the drums is like he’s firing a machine gun with unlimited ammo. Overall it was great but very tiring and I think I am getting sick also flu plus headache. Oh! I bought the new album “savior of the world” the graphic and video editing is the best among the entire album and this time their style is very different. By the way, note to yourself to not take Planetshakers as a super star or anything, they are there to bring us closer to God and not to entertain us! It seems like people is treating PS like a super star or something and it looks like they don’t like it either.

Overall of my entire week was quite bad, there is an internal conflict going on in the group and I’ve been praying that it will be solve soon, hopefully that friend will realize what she is doing. I am getting quite bored with my class mates even thought I am starting to get to know them better now a days but I am just not quite in the mood any more after the conflict started. I have to redo all of Debbie’s assignment which really pisses me off, but I got an 8.5 for my inking project which made me quite happy because I spend like four bloody hours ok!

Today is a great day because it’s father’s day, since coming to KL I think I am starting to appreciate my parents more not because I miss them but because I don’t get to listen to them nagging anymore hahahaha. But yeah I still think my parents are good because they actually supported a jack ass like me till now. So I thank God for today, and I actually told God happy father’s day as if I really mean it, I am starting to think that coming to KL has made me a lot better and also a lot worse in some way. Pastor preaches a good message today about fatherhood, a father is a creator, leader, ruler, protector, and last but not least A FATHER MUST BE A LOVER. I like to point out about this as most Asian fathers think that you can’t show your soft side to your children because they may over power you. This I got to agree partially because I was brought up by that type of father, since my secondary school life I manage to lock my dad out of my life because of this reason and a few others. But ever since form five I started to realize that what he is actually doing is only for my own good, my dad will never say I love you directly but he does it indirectly, just like when he give me something important to do like designing his logo he could actually paid a good designer to do a nice logo for him but instead he gave it to me to do. That’s how my dad show’s his love to me and that’s what I hated about him since young I’ve been giving him present for every special occasion. I always like to do special stuff for my family but during my secondary life everything crumpled and I just stopped caring for them. I am actually very grateful now that I still have the chance to say thank you to them and repay whatever I did wrong. A FATHER MUST BE A LOVER NO MATTER WHAT, FOR GOD SAKES TROW UR PRIDE AWAY BT DON’T TROW THE DECIPLINE.

Overall City Harvest Church is helping me to grow in spirit a lot, it could be the church, it could be the people, it could be the pastor but I am thinking that it could just be God.

Four Hours of inking

Assignment Deadline's amuses ME

I just realize that blogspot allowed custom header to be put up
I am changing to a weekly update from now on because I don’t think I’ll have the mood to update three times per week unless we quickly plan out stuff to do on our weekdays. I am getting quite used to my college life now; my hands and fingers are now much more flexible and attuned to my art work besides that my creative flow seems to be unfrozen now.

My assignment are starting to pile up as I have tons of redo and just got a minor project from Irene for Design 1 Lecture. We are going to make a box, with black and white pattern I have decided to stick with splatter design and chess piece. For now it’s still in a sketch form even tough I have to submit the clean thumbnails on Tuesday, imagine drawing eight different designs by Tuesday.

Today was quite a draggy day as it’s been raining since noon. I went out with Jere and Hilda for Lunch today at a mamak store thank god they brought me out to eat or I would have starve at home. After that was the start of my assignment day, every Sunday would be assignment day as I would try to catch up with my pile of assignment that I’ve been keeping since last week. This will last until I decide to weather to join children ministry or not. So assignment day has just ended as I am typing out my blog which is 11.45pm. I manage to wrap up the evil Debbie’s work and a rough sketch for Irene’s work.

Now we go back to Saturday and Friday, Friday was a good day because the sun didn’t come out and it was very cooling. Class was fun and I manage to meet another new friend beside that Art History is actually quite fun because a Horny basket is actually teaching us so almost every art has boobies! Yeay boobies! Hahahaha and his jokes aren’t lame cause that’s the way he thinks and teach. I am starting to understand still drawing but my hands are still quite messy with the strokes, I can’t be a clean person and I am lacking in hand and eye coordination. At night I went to my first cell meeting, it was packed as we had to combine three cell into one not to mention like ninety percent of my cell member is Indon except me, Jere, Hilda and Tommy OMG when they speak, its super fast and you can only understand a fraction of their BM even though it’s not BM. They are fun people even when they tell jokes in Indon you still laugh because it’s like super super funny when they say it.

Saturday I went to 1Utama with CJ and the group, it was fun we had lunch together and walked around the four star flea market, well we were practically finding places to seat actually while waiting for the girls to shop. Didn’t join them for movie as I need to rush back for Church, please don’t get me started on unfriendly taxi drivers and their Fing charging system. In Kl do not find taxi drivers who are just waiting around the taxi stand and do nothing cause those are actually illegal taxi even thought they have that big fugly red cab and white uniform those are drivers who just do it as a part time job. Always remember to go by the meter as it’s cheaper and much more accurate then what they actually say, besides that taxi drivers are actually earning a three hundred percent profit already even thought with a meter. I had asked around ten good and honest taxi driver who told me they earn like minimum RM200 per day which is tax free because taxi run on petrol and gasoline, gasoline cost only RM7 for a full tank it’s like riding a fing bike! And you can travel all the way to Melaka and still have half a tank to spare OMFG! Those Fing liars! Still Taxi’s here are way better than KK as you now those are like Fing Con men.

Oh and I learn a lot in this week service, I like pastors Kevin preaching it isn’t as deep as pastor William and more towards the younger generation but I still fall asleep at both preaching because I am never good with people who talks on stage no matter how good or fun it may be, I lack in concentration power. Pastor preaches about the Pursuit of Happiness and how it’s actually a must to rise among the ranks but by doing it side by side God. A person with High Ranking position is best to serve the Lord as he is secure financially and in power, a person with such ranking should never look down on the smaller people but serve them well as in turn they will do the same.

This I quote from pastor Kevin and agree 100% because I have been there and done that which I think many people have before, for example when you are out finding a brand new phone all your heart see’s is hand phone hand phone hand phone even when you are out walking and see’s a person holding a certain model of a Nokia phone you instantly know what model it is, specs and price because your heart is searching for a new phone. So this must be put into your relationship with God, having a heart for God means you see everything as God wants you to see. The teaching by Pastor Kevin and Melvin is not very different because both are aim at the young and old and straight forward unlike Pastor William who touches deeper on the Bible and Fathering of God’s people.

Oh and don’t give me those crap about me being Holy just because I go to Church almost twice a week, which part of me says that I am Holy? I just believe in my God and partially follow his rules and teaching. So don’t call me a Hypocrite by talking about how Fing taxi drivers are and in the next line telling about God’s teaching, cause I blame it all on the Westerner for making Christ the super goody goody religion until everyone thinks we are like a super holy religion. Call me Holy and I’ll whack you.

Ok so I maybe little over reacting, this is one of the scenes for my presentation in Communication Skill Class about a horror story where I met a gremlin right outside my street junction which is semi true because every time I pass by that junction, it would just turn off by its own. Quite normal actually, I had heard of traffic lights doing that also.
My weekend was fun I had to rush a pile of assignment which I think I did badly so I am going to have to redo everything when I get it back, did I mention I hate copy and pasting hand drawing arghhh I don’t have hand and eye coordination for those type of things.

Saturday I manage to meet up with Vern who was down in KL for a week, we went to 1Utama and I manage to shop for three brand new shirts radioactive was selling them for buy 1 free 2, YES! Amazing isn’t it and they said those type of offer will never happen. After that we went to eat Nando’s which I had to wait for a menu for almost three minutes before I said out loud how unfriendly the waiters are. (May I add that I think Sunway’s Nandos is the best! Because it’s finger licking good till the bones, Sg. Wang’s is too dry and 1 Utama’s is lacking of flavoring ) Chris joint us shortly afterwards and all three of us were wearing brown! Now that was weird, super brown day.

Next we went around window shopping while waiting for del a new friend who I finally know after hearing it mention numerous time by Ann and Vern, besides that she brought with her a new friend named Cherry, reminds me of PowerPuff Girls “Blossoms, Buttercup, Bubbles” oh crap did I just say that out loud? Church was super cold as it was raining and half the congregation was at Emerge Singapore; I can’t wait for Emerge KL. Dinner at some hawker centre that was playing a remix of all my grandfathers’ song was really disturbing “imagine you will follow me~~ merge together with some techno beat” it was quite catchy but really really lame.

Sunday I woke up early and join Darryl for lunch at Sunway Hotel which was a complimentary buffet meal by the hotel itself, among all the hotel buffet that I had eaten I think this one is among the top three because the food is hot and not soggy not to mention the food quality seems to be a lot better than Hyatt’s. After that I met up with Mimi or Mimi Mi from Austin power as I like to call her, she’s among my good friend in class and my mid night massage buddy as she likes to sleep late like me. she accompanied me to the saloon named Vas Felix, the boss lady was very generous and gave me a haircut, wash, and highlight for only RM45 student price she said and a very nice job indeed I like my hair now as it is shorter and tidier unlike my old and messy long hair.

I’ve been acting strangely during the past few days, crazy as you may say and much more talkative? I think I may be changing as I stay on in KL as many of my friends tells me “KL Changes life and people, inner and outer alike” I hope it just change for the better. Oh and the most awkward thing I ask a bunch of my girlfriends is that how the heck does PMS works? All I got was answers that rocket scientist couldn’t even answer and that a map can’t even direct. Of Friends and Girls

Friends are among the very foundation of a teenage life, most of your teen life is spent with your friends and you tell them almost everything that happens to you. A friend starts with a Hi and a handshake, every new friend you make improve your life by a few percentages. But what if the friends you met made your life worst? Do you tolerate them? Voice up? Or leave them? Most of the time I just tolerate them and only once have I voice up to one which was Hilary. Leaving them? That’s also quite common in the past but not any more cause in the world every person you know is equal to a drop of gold.

I am not going to complain about my new friends today because they are new, the longer you know them the longer your bonds strengthen. But sometimes you just feel that certain things should be voiced up for their own good and hopefully they change but today it’s a little different because for the first time I am actually hanging out 24/7 with girls. Is it them or do girls really like to gossip a lot? Because among all the best friends that are girls, this group seems to stand out more, not because they annoy me but I am actually worried about them. Gossiping too much is always harmful to your social life no matter what type of gossip it is about, good or bad. normally when they gossip I just keep quiet and act blur “well basically I don’t act blur cause they talk so damn fast that I can’t even keep up” and today it bothers me even more because a tension between our group and the international group actually happen. I am quite ok with the international group because I am quite close to two people from there and they are friendly to me, so in order for a friendly conversation among class mates I shall try to settle this quietly. I know among one of them will be reading this blog and others, so give your opinion should I actually voice up to them or tolerate them?

And I went RedBox yesterday with Kellie and Kah ro, was force to sing Chinese songs! Hahaha photos you guys ask? Wait and you shall receive; I am feeling the comeback of my camera! Its already charged and waiting on my table.

Have I forgotten about my life in the blogosphere community? The answer is “no” don’t worry I am still around just that being busy, hot and the expanding of my new social life lingering around, blogging just seem so boring and since I came here my camera days seems to be dying down.

*Note to self “Command and Conquer 3 is the most Ghay game ever!” It took me five days to install it and ended up it crashed! Fing stupid game.

So life here have been quite hectic and tiring, everything move at a fast pace except the traffic which is as slow as a snail. You eat fast, you study fast, you buy fast, and you shit fast! My table is constantly filled with pencil, eraser bits and paper, assignments comes in a wave of 4 per week. Thursday and Friday is the worst days of all because you have the Malaysian studies “HISTORY”, figure drawing “hate drawing”, art history “history AGAIN”, and still drawing “drawing drawing” Monday to Wednesday is actually my favorite days as I have Communication class which is very fun, something like drama class. Design 1 which teach you the basic of design, Fine art which teach you the basic of art and design and Design workshop where you learn how to use software’s.

My social life is growing at a steady pace, guys in my class are quite weird “mentally” mostly anime lovers and stuff…. I am yet to find any designers, just anime freak of sort… (Don’t be offended; it’s just that the market place is actually over crowded with Japanese style drawings already! It’s just way too much! Being a part of majority is a big NO in the design industry. You are supposed to understand them, not be one of them! ) so I mostly hang out with girls around my class, around 90% of the people I actually talk too are girls. My house mate and temporally house mate are girls and I mostly eat dinner with them and yim cha with them too, how I wish I can find proper guy friends around here so I can actually go gaming and yim cha. So for now I am just hanging out with my group of “girlfriends” Cheryl our PR = Public relation / “self proclaim perfectionist” , Asha our treasurer because she withdraws money from her ATM daily , and SheRee our secretary no other position to give her cause she’s good in dancing but what the heck, secretary it is.

My weekend life is quite boring, sleeping till noon is quite normal. Saturday I go to City Harvest Church with Hilda and planning to bring more friends with me. The church is damn good, fun and hype, the preaching is straight forward, clear and directed to the younger generation not too draggy and not missing in content. I am thinking about joining their children ministry which is made out of 30 teachers and 25 kids. (Wait isn’t it suppose to be the other way around?) I still haven’t try out cell group here, but after joining them for dinner twice they are a bunch of funny / quite people not too loud and not to hyper just the right amount of everything, most of them are from Indonesia and quite good looking. Sundays are mostly spend at home or going out with my cousin and friends until I can decide to join children ministry or not.

*I bought Fruitella today and do they have a wrapper fetish! i had to open 4 wrappers to get the sweet. *look who followed me to College =D btw i would like to comment on Naffnag that provided the tickets for PotC they were very helpfull and everything was planned out very well.

Begining a new in college

Settling in college life alone isn’t that easy especially when the only person you know in college is you, yourself and no one else. But before that I’ll start from Friday, the sending off party was small but quite memorable when something happen at custom checking due to a going away present given by the jack ass. The feeling of leaving is sad but seeing them there actually makes the going away fun, and also grace for actually turning up to send me off.

Shopping for this trip was a real drag; I got sick coz of running up and down buying pillows, towel, bowls, blankets and so on. The worst part of all is that I don’t have a table right now! So my bed became my dining table / study table / comp table, who is kind enough to sponsor me a table I am forever in your debts. Moving in was quite easy, I had four suit case and two boxes! Imagine a guy with that many stuff and don’t you forget the piles of grocery and stuff from IKEA my mum bought for me. By the way I am staying in a single spacious room according to my friends and Joseph.

The first day of college was dare I say “boring” I was expecting a lot more from a college who pride them self for their world class standards and creative communication. There was a lot of talking and talking until we got so bored that everyone almost slept through the class, we ended at twelve and I went to scout around Sunway, found out three cybers, a few mamaks, art supplier, 3 saloons, 2 bakeries, 1 vegetarian restaurant, and 2 nice Chinese restaurants.

Second day was a bit more brighter when the seniors took over the stage and I met a few more friend, one thing about us we totally sucks in communication and tend to stick to our own group / our own language. Till now I found a metro sexual group which I haven’t talked to them personally yet because after meeting them I met a wild / random group of cosplayers. So the whole day was spent with them at lunch and playing with my computer. I am still to find the yim cha group, gaming and study group. Meeting this entire new people really excites me for a new beginning, being able to start over new, a handshake as the first body contact and the most important of all how you shake a person’s hand will show what type of person you are and also how you dress up. Till now I manage to guess 80% correct on which course each student will major in by the way they dress.

Today Jere and Hilda bought me out for lunch at “Sushi Zanmai” to my surprise the pricing is quite reasonable for a good meal almost like Nishiki back home but much cozy. RM16 for set rice but no miso soup… After that went down to Giant to get a few groceries, I bought a big bottle of mineral water since the water here look contaminated due to SUNWAY LAGOON! Jk jk, but the water here sure is yellow. Beside that Milo, apple juice and a tin a hap seng crackers.

* I keep forgetting my camera and I bath 4 times a day! One in the early morning, one after school, one before dinner, one before i sleep.

Happy Birthday Dad, yesterday was my dad’s 53rd birthday we went to eat seafood at a restaurant behind supertanker their seafood is fresh and their cooking is quite nice not to mention the price is reasonable. We had Spicy crab, pai kut wong “pork ribs”, stir fried vegetable with egg, steam prawns, and asam fish head. I am still amazed at the effort people put into cracking open the crabs claw and etc. just to get the small amount of so called tasty meat…. Wouldn’t you prefer to enjoy a large piece of pork ribs with just a stab of the fork? Besides that I had a great work out getting the skin off the prawns not only do you have to put in the hard work to cook them but to eat them also.

After the dinner my dad drop me off at Mitch house, he’s a long childhood friend of mine almost as long Joel because Mitch is his brother after all. He was having BBQ at his place with a few of the E2 class mates and SA1; it was fun hanging out with them another crazy bunch of people not to mention Dota freaks. We chatted till the late night and played taken on the PS2 as a matter of fact I don’t think we made much progress with eating. We stopped around 1am and went down to Damai for Dota at Bahamut Portal, the cyber have really change good new A4 tech gaming keyboard with razor mouse not to mention new flat plasma Samsung screen still till date live up its name for the elites of KK. We played till 4 am with a 2 teams, we had almost 20 ppl there that night and it was fun playing with them. Went home and crash straight on the bed.

Today I had lunch with Raymond and Alex, been long since I met them. We ate at V.I.P restaurant at Damai paid by my mum. After that went to CX to have a game of Dota… boy did we suck…

Well I’ll be heading off this coming Saturday at 9.15 pm , those who wish to see me for the last time can find me at LCCT around 8.

Farewell soon

Farewell parties are touching and fun at the same time, I have been busy with a few of it for the past few days. I had a very heavy farewell present from the kids at GK on Sunday when they decided to tackle me to the ground by the hundred. It was sad having to see my cell group say good bye to me and countless other kids which I played with for the past few years. I went for lunch with Hyung and Mahlau at Nishiki, I had fried oysters with steam beef and potatoes, it was really fun spending time with them again did lots of stupid stuff and also had a pleasant meal after that we went to “Yogurberry” at Warisan square yogurberry sound like the mixture of Yogi bear and berries, we ordered snow yogurt nothing special just yogurt with shave ice and mix fruits it was quite nice thought.

Monday I had a farewell gaming session with a few ex classmates / gamers of mine, we went CX till mid night and basically played DoTA and chatted. Most of them will be staying back here to study accounting at TAR College. My whole week will be jammed pack with stuff, shopping, lunch, dinner, gaming, packing, meetings, and yim cha with a lot of my long lost friends.

Shoot me in the head and call me a pig, well that’s basically what I have been doing “pigging out” felt so unproductive for the past few days lazing around the house watching TV, movies, and playing games, I didn’t even bother to go out and socialize camera been rotting along with me also, so I didn’t even take a single picture.

Joseph left us yesterday, and the day before that we had the wildest night ever “with money everything is fun” I can’t put in much detail in here as it would cause problems among my friends. Well some of us relies a thing or two, some of us tried something new, some of us learn that the toilet bowl can do much more than you think, some of us prefer to sleep under a table, some of us prefer not to bath after a whole day, some of us confess a secret lover, some of us snores, some of us like to dance ballet, some of us ended up hugging, some of us prefer our drinks in tea cups, some of us were high, some of us just sucks in foosball, some of us has no hand and eye coordination, some of us were shy, some of us ate roti canai that looked like dog food, and some of us spent lots and lots of money that night.

Our island plan got canceled at the last minute due to some unforeseen reason, and the weather was just so damn good plus some of us were having a few problems controlling our closing eyes and…. So we ended up not going.

Today was a work day or so I called it a work day, was at the office for only two hours doing some final touch up on the Bible Explorers Certificates. After the work was done I followed my mum out for lunch at Nishiki, till date still the best Japanese restaurant in town plus their set lunch is much cheaper than any other Japanese restaurant not to mention the quality in cooking, ingredient and amount they have given. “Steamed cha siu marinated with sweet sos with a small dash of fat and tender meat” now that’s what I call a good meal. Even thought I have to confess their Sushi is quite pricy RM12 for Unagi when the normal Unagi in Japanese Restaurant is RM6, theirs has the freshness in ingredient and the amount they give isn’t like those cheapskate restaurant, this Unagi u can’t even finish with one bite.

After that I went down to centrepoint to catch Spiderman 3, it’s a good movie but I realize that spidey is starting to get fat. It was a two and a half hour movie, the director did good but the sound effects was slightly off and they tried to cramp too much into it, there was comedy, action, romance, affairs, horror and emotions all in one movie. I give the acting 9/10, story line 8.5/10, Effects, 6/10 and overall 8.5/10 it wasn’t as exciting as I thought it will be.

Been a wee bit busy for the past few days, I had to balance work, play and driving lessons in the whole week. Have been rushing trying to finish the super club project for the past few days and today had to OT until four something just to finish off the poster printing, slicing, taping, and gumming everything together. Driving lessons have been going on well, been rushing it also since I’ll be leaving soon. The best news is that I still have two more weeks before I leave and I am still not ready yet, will be sending Joseph off this coming Wednesday to Kuala Lumpur his whole kampung will be joining him on the trip, “kampung” as in his dad, mom, aunty, and all.

Today’s youth was fun, leading another messy youth challenge as always “gummies + ice cubes + tomato sauce + plain water = sweet and sour ice cold tomato soup” Mahlau lead games today which was spin till you lose your marbles, basically you just spin ten times and put a marble into an empty bottle. The youth prayed for Joseph and me also, since joining the youth I always wondered what will happen in situation like this, well that’s for me to know.
After youth we went to yim cha at Yu Cheng which was nearby Mahlau’s house, talk, crap, eat, and basically had fun.

By the way, i went to watch "Sunshine" today and i got to say it a Really Really Boring SHOW! the acting was good i give it a 9/10, story line a 6/10, visuals 8/10 so why is it boring? most of the stuff that happen was pretty much expected its as if i could plot the entire movie with out even watching it plus it's just like your typical amergadon movie.

Dinner, movie and star gazing "Date?" Not when u have three people involve.

I just installed Microsoft Office 2007 and its looking sleek and beautiful. Well today I actually did make a comic strip out of Lego during the afternoon but seeing that I had a late night out I don’t think I’ll be posting it up today.

Went out to eat dinner with Chris and Vern today at Wagamama Asia City, it’s an ok place quite empty and they had this cool conveyor belt which looks like it came from the airport I still prefer the normal train type. Had plenty of fun making retards out of our self, eating and taking silly pictures. I still laugh imagining the look on Vern face when she held the pickled cucumber with her chop sticks.

We went to watch a 9.40p.m movie at Growball, Wild Hogs a good movie I give it an 8/10 the comedy was going at a steady pace with intellectual laugh rather than those stupid type and would be a constant joke. The story line was very average and the acting was good as it was done by famous old timers.

After the movie we decided to go to Sutera Harbour to star gaze and ended up taking SS pictures and scenery, walk a lot until I started to get sweaty which made me uncomfortable. We went home around 1a.m and stop by for a drink around my house; each of us ordered the same thing “kit chai ping”

Today was a quiet day, followed mum to work today and had breakfast at Pete’s Corner sorry no pictures for today because i forgot to charge my camera after the Kuala Lumpur trip. After that i went for my facial appointment at Asia City Mall, yes i do facial due to the condition on my face and also the factor where my sis and mum love me so much that they forced me to go. The Facial lasted for four hours, thirty minutes on washing your face and massage, one and a half on getting the blackheads out, one hour on some fancy blue light thingy, and one hour of masking and sleeping. So all in all i receive hell during the one and a half hour of getting my skin squeeze and poke at and one hour of heaven as a slept.

After that my mum and I went to Public Bank to get my account open because beside The One Academy is a Public Bank, so you know “duh!” had to sign so many papers and finally i manage to get my ATM card, the bad news is that i don’t get to hold my ATM card first due to a problem that occurred with my old one.

I was going through some of my old toys this evening and look what i found. So i present to you “Heroes, the Lego Series”

I am back to work at church office helping around, teaching Sarah and Anand the basic and also designing stuff for SuperClub and Discovery Club. Well life is basically backed to the normal more routine and coordinated life after two weeks of playing around.

Scouting Report

Scouting around town was fun and when I said town I mean Sunway town and the neighboring places. I was there for four days and three nights, one night was spend at my friends place Tristan and the other two was at an my uncles apartment which was rented out to one of his family member, me and my dad Hilary stayed with me for a night also. The very first day I went around Sunway territory in search for a room to rent I manage to find four rooms each pricing from RM350 to RM450 for a single room exclusive of bills, bummer living there is going to kill me and let’s not talk about the bills and food! Food alone has eaten up RM50 out of my wallet in four days and I mostly skipped breakfast and dinner two meals a day and it cost RM50, money is so going to be a problem there.

After I finished room scouting my dad brought me to meet one of his business partner in Damansara Sunway, Uncle Rocky one of the major share holder for Extreme Park Subang, Port Dickson and maybe in the future Kota Kinabalu. Being in his house is like being in a 5star resort and it was built in just 12 months, it’s been so long since I had followed my dad around on his business trips and as I grow older I am starting to appreciate each trip as each of them I get to learn something and meet new people. Later that night they dropped me at Lagoon Perdana nearby Sunway where Tristan is staying, even thought the apartment there is run down but her dad manage to renovated her apartment so it looks reasonably nice compared to the other units in that area, rent there is cheap around RM600 to Rm650 for the whole apartment. After settling in we went out pubbing at The Curve, Laundry. One thing is for sure the drinks there is expensive compared to here, around RM16-18 for a normal cocktail which you can get for RM12-15 here in KK. I had Colorado Bulldog which proves to be a wrong order because they mixed in Irish Bailey which made it taste like Horlicks. I was glad I got to spend some time with my best friend over there even though Joel and I didn’t get to play a decent DoTA Game. By the way, Subang SS15 is the Damai of KL! That place rocks! Damn the cyber there is like uber cool, foosball, Yim Cha OMFG!

Second day met up with Hilary as me, Tris, Jo went to shop at Sunway Pyramid. I don’t dare to shop much as I am low on cash and I am afraid that I’ll get bored when I go there for good on May so I’ll save it for later. We head back down to Asia Café at SS15 which is the best place to hang, their hawker centre is always pack with student and wide variety of choice, I suggest eating the roast chicken there RM8.50 and quite nice. Besides that they have over 20 pool tables, 40 foosball table, 20 billiard table, 280+ Computers and don’t forget the most highly rig computer in the whole of Malaysia even appeared in this month Game Axis as the most high performance cyber, they even include the most expensive Altec Lansing Woofers and Razer mouse, it makes your normal mouse feel like crap.

Monday was the day I had everything done and paid, did my placement test which finished in 45 minutes except one question which me and Hilary took 15 minutes to think and still no answers was found. (Question below) After that dad took me to get my room booked and rent, I took the one which was a five minute walk away from collage and cost RM380 excluding bills which should sum up to around RM420 partially furnished with ceiling fan and a joining bathroom, what’s even weird is that the person who I’ll be sharing a bathroom with is a girl so you guys say is that a good thing or bad… After the everything was paid I went down to IKEA to view some of the furniture which I would need to buy on my next trip down, I found one nice drawing table RM495 it was damn nice with adjustable height and white in color with a tracing section and measurement table too. RM59 for a white plastic chair with roller, rubber pad for dicing and slicing, pen holders, mirror, and dustbin and so on.
Fourth day, since most of my stuff was done I followed dad around town to do his business. He brought me over to one of KL leading artist which is a long time friend of his who owns his own studio at home with a staff of 7 I am glad I met him as he thought me a few pointers in surviving the industry, next met up with uncle Rocky who intro to me a printer which does most of KL’s large scale printing, large as in building size large.
My trip ended on the fourth day as my dad and I took the bus down to LCCT for the 9.30p.m flight back to KK. Picture will be up soon.

Sorry for the absence of my blogging since my birthday, one reason being that my comp doesn’t seem to allow me to upload pictures no matter where I host them.

My birthday was great; I celebrated at Pizzas Hut on Sunday night with most of my friends and had a great time. On my birthday it self Liang moi came over to cook lunch for me, I did the table serving, soup and desserts while she prepared the main course and appetizer. For Starters we had Sweet Corn Soup with a dash of fried onion, followed by Chicken Salad for appetizer. The main course was Pasta with cream souse, mushroom and mutton, finished with Ice cream smeared with Bailey. That was given to me as my birthday present by my girlfriend.

During dinner time me, my mum; dad and Liang moi went to Jesselton café to have Dinner. I ordered the main course which was chicken breast stuffed with mozzarella cheese and top with mushroom souse while my parents ordered seafood pasta for three. Liang moi ordered their lasagna which was quite nice. Total price of the meal was around RM150 which was very damn expensive considering the portion that was given, but that’s what we call fine dinning.

Mum bought Chocolate banana cake from secret recipe which was very nice but very filling too, ate two slice accompanied by dessert wine from Australia. Over all my birthday this year was good.

So tomorrow I’ll be leaving for Kuala Lumpur on the morning flight, can’t wait as I’ll be shifting around trying out each accommodations and also will be staying with my best friend which would most probably be my future place, RM400 for single, furnished, bills paid and air con very good if you ask me. Hilary will also be accompanying me on the trip there; he’ll be staying there for a month before heading back to Kota Kinabalu.

Tired, crappy, happy, annoyed, sick, how the hell do you feel all of those at the same time!? Well I was forced out to bed early in the morning by my dad to practice my driving, it’s the third time I am driving on the main road, drove from Luyang intersection to City Mall and then to Damai quite scary since the road was bumpy so the steering wheel kept going right. Easter Sunday was fun and chaotic, lunch was filling and movie was exciting. “Shooter” all you hear would be the bang bang bang of the guns, explosions, and bullets passing over your head I give it a 4/10.

I had my Birthday party at Pizza Hut today, total cost was RM206.89 quite a reasonable price, and I didn’t have quite as much fun as I did on my last birthday but it’s still memorable in some ways. This year I felt my self to be more open, less ashamed and more stupid as ever. Present will be posted on Tuesday as that’s the day I’ll turn 18 and my Under18 title will have to be taken down already.

BBQ, Birthdays and ******'s

It’s too late for an update and I have “braveheart” to watch besides I doubt the readers can keep up with me if I update daily.

Today I was invited to two birthday party not the first to happen but actually the first party that doesn’t clash together so I was able to attend both. I started the morning by going to the BBQ set up by Ah Liew and also a combine one with Hilary’s BBQ so I don’t need to spend money on two BBQ. It was nice, even thought I got to say “We Really Really Suck in Fire Starting!” Eventually we manage to start a fire with hexamine as some morons killed my fire by fanning out all the oxygen. We had chickens, hotdogs, sweet potato, satays, bread, and jagung. Quite a lot since we took an hour to start the fire and got lazy to eat after that.

Went to Lyn’s birthday at CentrPoint Mc Donald’s and had a Double cheesy, sitting beside Vern is always a bad thing as you’ll get bruises at the end of the day. After that we went to watch “Meet the Robinsons” quite a nice story, as always Disney Stories have a sense of quality in them and the part where T-rex tried to eat the guy was just plain funny!

Today was the last night of youth for Mel, our youth leader will be leaving in one week time and I am soon to follow suite. Andy’s celebration was held in no other place but his shop “The Hut” the best Birthday meal I had, after that we did our usual stupid censored stuff which as normal I can’t put here as they will kill me. *Cave man trying to get husk for fire and monkey looking bored!*this is Hilary's group

Busy Friday

Happy Good Friday, it’s the day where Jesus died for us and paid for out sins. Today is the start of my busy week, I went to watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle in the afternoon with Liang Moi the show was quite nice being it your typical hero saving the day movie; I’ll give it a 5/10.

At night I went out with Joseph, Andy, Alex, Tun, Jeff, and Ka Jun to celebrate my soon to be birthday with them as they are my church friends and Tun is leaving on Sunday morning so I had to make it today. We started off with just me, Tun, Andy and Alex we practically rotted at Golden Garden Restaurant, the Wo Tiet tasted like crap and all we drank was Chinese tea. After an hour we went to Jeff house to watch American Pie, that guy is an American Pie freak! He has all the American pie series in his house; we laugh our head out while watching it besides that we had some small form of entertainment there also which is totally not to be said in public.

Joseph join us around 9.30p.m right after prayer meeting and we went to have out supper at Lotus Restaurant, ordered Wo Tiet “again”, grilled pari-pari (stingray), Fried Kuey Teow, Tuaran mee, and Prawn ball with mayonnaise. It was fun, even thought we didn’t do anything stupid but we did talk a lot of crap. Not to forget we stuffed Ka Jun and Andy in the car Boot while driving around Damai.

Well starting tomorrow it will be a busy week end for me, plans are made, place are booked, wallet stuffed, present wrapped and Chicken wings marinated! Today we prepare for Glory! I still cant believe that time finally fly past us with a snap of a finger, I’ll be turning 18 this coming Tuesday on the 10th of April for those who said what’s so special about that day obviously you don’t memorize my hand phone number or even my birthday.

Stiff neck, dry throat, headache and block nose all symptoms of me getting a fever. Stupid weather it’s been a blazing heat since last Friday and its not getting any better, how I wish I am in Kundasang now. Today I finally receive my offer letter! After two weeks of waiting, I am required to go take a placement test two weeks before my school term starts so instead of me going on May 13 I maybe going at the end of April. Every one is leaving all my close friends and I just found out that one of my close class mates left for KL with out telling me, but it’s partially my fault for not keeping in contact with him also. Besides that I got my first birthday treat, one week earlier which was given to me by Kelly a very old primary class mate in Miyabi Japanese restaurant. Quite nice and filling considering that all she ate was my serving of brinjal and a few piece of lamb, the rest was dump on to me such as the miso soup, salad, salmon, crocket, sushi and all sort.

At night went out to yam cha with Golden and Lai some where around Luyang area beside that we also went to disturb Mahlau at her house and we got chase away by the dad, that was just funny! Mel would be moving away soon so we went there hoping to help him pack his stuff but ended up kind of disturbing him cause his house was in a total mess and that he was shy. Mel “shy”? Yes he can be shy. And we did quite a number of stupid things also like disturbing Lintas supermarket by stuffing our shopping trolley with their entire item and just leaving it all at some corner.

My weekend was great as ever, having a great Beach Blast on the Saturday morning as a Game master and for the first time I am no more a group leader! Being one was fun and all but training another was even more fun. I woke up at five it was the very rare occasion where I actually wake up before seven; we shared our compound with a few kayakers as they were having a camp there. This year’s beach blast wasn’t as noisy, rowdy or packed as last year but it was sure fun and good. I really enjoyed my time in children ministry and playing around with the kids.

We started out day slow, the crowd was smaller and as always red and blue group got the best kids, the sun was out and the games started. First on the list was aerobics fun but we wasn’t prepared for it since it was a last minute idea, next was the marble treasure hunt, didn’t get to join in the fun this year. third was pass the sand very funny when you see the kids play it especially when you put the larger kids at the front of the line and the smaller kids at the back, so no matter how much sand the big kids take it will end up to a sum of a tea spoon at the end. My game was next which is the hoola hoop dance, the game didn’t go as plan because Joseph brought the wrong hoops to the beach instead we improvised and use our legs to do the looping. The item which I like most was the tug of war, raw strength with the girls versus the boys and kids versus the youth we’ll always let the kids win the first round. The last and best game of all was the sand castle building, this year we made a theme not sand castle but animal building, there were Mickey mouse, a whale, birthday cake, and butterfly. We packed up early around eleven and for the first time we finish on time.

Night war was a blast, this year we tested a new style and I was so please we had it on that day since the weather was freaking hot. Two team, two commanders, eight hundred plastic bags and the only thing that was stopping them from hitting each other rite in each other faces was a thin red safety line. Each team has 5 shields / blockade to protect them from the incoming barrage, one commander to protect and 400 hundred plastic bags fill with water to launch at the opposing team. I was actually a referee but was eventually pulled out to be a Group leader, in my team was the youth two monkeys Jeffrey, Andy and one Mahlau which was the second in command. My two monkeys were given the job of taking down the commander but all they did was get hit in the face. I my self scored a successful head shot and got hit in the face myself and also the better not to be spoken part of a guys body. Imagine how painful it is when u get hit on your body? Now imagine how much more painful it is on your face! Even my spectacles went out of place. The war was ended with us ambushing Melvin with ice water as he is about to leave KK on 13th of April to Singapore.

Yam cha at 2020 as we talked about all the memories we had in youth and camp, that I’ll miss about KK.

Today been another heck of a hot day, woke up around 12 and had to listen to Colvin talking on the phone about all the contest he had join and how he wish to win it, he’s a good guy and stuff but a little not right in the head if you guys know him you will understand. Went gaming again at CX it’s like a daily thing now, when ever I am bored I’ll just take the bus down to Damai and game, had tea time lunch / dinner with Liang moi at Tai meng and also ice cream break. Currently doing a research on stupid / crazy / proper/ funny/ funky video game song for tomorow's beach party.

Yesterday I went to gym at the club with Vern, she spend me dinner and I though her how to Melbourne shuffle. “Imagine her shuffling! It will make your day a lot brighter” dinner was nice, chicken with cashew nuts and fries not to mention sweet pandan coconut drink. Then we went to the lounge and I had to listen to ah pak and Vern sing, the horror… That’s basically the life of the unemployed.

Sunday, 26th March 2007
Skipped church to meet up with Kim at Wisma to give back her hand phone cause mine was low on battery, we exchange hand phone for the night. Met up with Liang moi and the 3 of us shop for cosmetic (crap! Not again) after than met up with Michelle to help her choose her glassed and went to watch “300” with M&M. went to Jeffrey’s birthday over at his house at night, had BBQ with pizza and everything nice party. I actually manage to get tipsy there.

Waiting
Have you realize that the average human spend almost his whole life just by waiting? Since I was born I began to learn how to wait, since I was three years old waiting for my food to come, waiting for my parents to come home, waiting for my big ko ko to play with me.
Then came Kindy, I waited for my parents to pick me up, waited for nap time, waited for snack time, waited for play time, waited for power rangers to come on.
Then waiting got more serious in primary school year 1 to 4, you start waiting for the bell to ring, waiting for your teacher to come, waiting for your test result to come out, waiting for your friends to come out and play with you.
Then primary 5 and 6 came, you waited to get a scolding from your mum, you waited for the newest rock band to lunch its songs, you waited for UPSR result, you waited for the letter on which school you are going too.
Form 1 pops up and you realize you are growing up, you waited for your parents to let you go out alone, you waited to have a life of your own, and you waited for your hand phone which was to be given to every teenager.
Then PMR came out, you waited anxiously for the results, you waited for the letter which shows which stream you go to.
Form 4 to 5 was to be the best years of your secondary school life, you waited for your girl friend, you waited for your allowance money, you waited for your driving license, and you waited for SPM.
You graduate from hell, so you start all over, you wait for your chance to use the car, you wait for your boss to offer you the job, you wait for your application form, you wait for your letter of approval, and you wait for your SPM results. Your life is constantly on waiting mode and me for one is getting sick of it.

All this time I’ll always wait, wait for the person to say hi to me first, wait for the girl I like to make the first move, wait for my parents to give me allowance, wait for my friends to call me out. Well this year I think I am finally over it, I wait less. I make the first move more and I some time go for it even if it means embarrassing your self. Waiting may not always be a bad thing but it isn’t a good thing either. By waiting you can always think longer, make better decision and gather more information. But by waiting you miss the chance, you wasted your time, you lose your confidence.

I for one have experience waiting a lot, as I wait I realize a lot more and you become much more aware and by that you start to think more. Thus by thinking “will I get embarrassed? What if it’s a wrong time?” To counter this I have come out with my own solution, yes you should think before you act but remember that only consider the first though that comes up in your head, by that time I would be expecting my self to already make the move (even though I happen to hesitate some times) don’t be shy, the only person who is on the losing end is you if you wait. I would like to suggest the phrase made famous by US Marines “act first, ask later” simple and straight to the point.

Waiting for the Golden opportunity to arise? Why wait? Why don’t you act and grab that Golden opportunity your self? Acting fast is what makes you above the rest and that doesn’t mean acting rashly, always act with your brain even if it only 30% of it.

BUT THE WHOLE MAIN POINT OF ME WRITING THIS IS BECAUSE I AM DAMN TIRED OF WAITING FOR MY OFFER LETTER!

Tourism Seminar

Tourism have never been my favorite subject to study but I got to admit that it is quite fun especially after seeing all the cute girls in the seminar. My dad has been advising me to take up tourism since the day I said I wanted to do design as a courier. He still hasn’t given up on that idea yet and keeps asking me to go to this tourism thingy, so to be an obedient son I just follow.

The seminar started at 9.00am at Tang Dynasty, my dad wasn’t happy with them as they provided poor details on the venue, date and time, besides that when he contacted the Sabah Tourism Board they went totally blur on the subject. Visit Malaysia 2007 “konon” they can’t even provide service to the local community. The seminar started with them explaining the very basic of hospitality. *yawn

They though the very basic stuff from appearance, conversation and so on. So I decided to just draw and sketch randomly at the words that I hear like the word “Public Relation” I drew the initial PR and decorated it with flora design which is one of my favorite.

Then tea time, then more boring talk on body language and stuff the thing that makes me wonder is that the students of Inti, Stamford, KKC college who studies hotel management really don’t have much experience in fluent English, public speaking, and quite shy, but they are after all just foundation students.

Lunch was buffet style at the Tangs restaurant, and then the seminar continued at 2pm. The talk was finally getting interesting as they finally talk about something which I don’t know about “communication” quite funny seeing them act out the tourist and host game. One candidate is the host and one is the tourist asking for direction. Tourist: “excuzee me, I f.f.from cina want know where eat cina foooood” Host: *blur… errmmm first u go down ah, and then you walk out the big door. You see the black building ah, then the restaurant there liao.” Another Host even said “u go to centrepoint, the grey building and then turn left… errr… right… I mean, yes right then you see warisan square” (CP is grey? I tot it was white?)

Then I got to meet a group of Inti student, they were very friendly. I had a good conversation with a girl named Juliana I think, she has interest in graphic design but couldn’t do it because there’s no college that offer that course except S.I.A so she had to settle for tourism. Astagah… sad ler, so I definitely won’t screw up my chance in KL.

Today I depart with my laptop for maybe a month or a day or two; I am feeling so empty now luckily my dad bought me a new hard disk to transfer all my data out of my comp before it gets reformatted. The problem is that my DVD drive keeps disturbing the speaker quality when it runs a disk which makes the speaker sound broken. So now I have to use my old laptop which I won’t complain because it’s a good laptop, being able to handle my daily Dota without lag.

Today has been normal day for me, went out for lunch with mom, brought my laptop to karamunsing to get it done and meet up with Joel at Damai for a good bye drink and gaming, Tristan got another boy friend again… I wonder how she keeps up with this. Dota with your close friend sure get funny even thought we fought against AI version and playing Battlefield 2, a two man team against thirty bot reminds me of “the 300” fought to the very breath.

This I got to agree half and also disagree, yes getting to know her for long may ruin you chance for an intimate relationship but knowing some one for a reasonably short time will make it worse in the long run. Always remember that the long you stay with a person the stronger a bond becomes which makes it even easier for that woman to fall for you. “Avoid becoming her best friend” always give her the impression that you are a guy who cares a lot.

I am nervous about my application into The One Academy, I am not sure will they accept me or not and my mum been complaining about the expensive fees. If I fail this, I am dead for ever because my mom won’t be paying for my whole tuition fees, from third semester onwards my sis is going to pay for me I think. Crap

Went to try out a few new café at Asia city mall, there’s this herbal tea shop which is reasonable ok but the pricing is too expensive. RM1.80 for ha for chao is just over priced trust me, the price u see at yen ai at lintas isn’t normal, I can get it for below RM1 for a home made one and RM1.50 at the regular Kopi shop.

My breakfast in the morning

Pigs and Spiders do not make a good story! Today Hilary came over for a fitting session in my room again and we headed down to Damai to get his hair cut, I mean trim, more like a snip. After that we headed down town to join Tammi and her sister, Lyn and her sister, Sharon and her sister. See the similarity there? They all have sister! Haha and for your knowledge Tam and Lyn are both my adik angkat.

We went to watch Charlottes web, it’s quite obvious me and Hilary got bored by it because it’s a kids show. Little girl meets pig, pig get save, little girl takes care of pig, pig meets spider, spider save pig, and spider dies, pig stays alive, pig meets daughters of the little spider the end, typical children movie.

Rush home after Joseph called me out for movie with Su, Lowa, and Annabelle had to rush to get ready. Annabelle was hyper as usual and she crack her hand phone screen so she was like bugging us so much until we brought her to the shop to get it repaired.

We ended up not watching movie because Joseph mix up the time between the show of “the last kiss” and the “300” astagah! Finally we decided to head down to Dongongon, Krishnan for Rice and Curry, picked up Carol on the way there. We had lots of fun especially with Annabelle being hyper as usual. Krishnan is still considered the best North Indian Fish Head Curry Restaurant to me. *I FORGOT TO BRING DOWN MY CAMERA FROM THE CAR WHEN WE ATE IN KRISHNAN! Crap.

Pizza Hut

Its pizza day woke up around 11.30am and my mom called me out for lunch at pizza hut. Nth special actually it’s just that we haven’t been eating lunch together since I finish my form 5. Pizza hut seems to be getting from worse to worse daily; we ordered the salad, regular Hawaiian and garlic bread with soup. The salad had the left over food taste where u keeps it in the fridge for the night and the garlic bread seems to be stale. But over all we did have a good lunch since I complain to the manager and she got us fresh salad.

Gaming at CX “again” stupid noobs should stay out of CX they ruin every game I play by being dim witted morons. Still my Techie pawns your game.

C.E.R.F Camp

This years March camp was a little boring, we did have fun, we did learn new things, and we did build up relationship. But for me something was missing, some thing which makes all camp fun, what is it? That’s the atmosphere; this camp didn’t have much of the atmosphere for me so it was pretty dull and boring. Plus the banana boat this time sucks real bad, all they did was make us drop once and it wasn’t the best drop also.

Canon Balling from the jetty, kayak saving, volley balling, string burning and learning gin ramie (I think that’s how u spell it) been fun but I would rather go back to my normal life which is behind the computer and sleeping on my comfortable bed.

Everyone’s so nervous about SPM result, I am quite happy about this day cause it brings old school friends back together asking the most normal question and supporting each other all the way through the sweat breaking moment. Besides that I am also happy that I actually achieve my SPM goal which is five A (thanks to Mahlau for reminding me) I got 3 A1 in English for Science and Technology (EST), Pendidikan Seni Visual (arts), English Language. 2 A2 for Bahasa Melayu and surprisingly for General Science.
B for Math, E for Economics and C for everything else which I miss out. Quite good since I wasn’t expecting grades like this.

Congrats to all my friends out there esp. those who got straight A’s.

The 300

Today was quite a busy day for me, was suppose to be working but I ran off half way because had a meeting with a friend of mine and that I told Sharon that I would give her a crash course in art exam. Me and Joseph went down to Dongongon around 11a.m to get the sago worm, they look really cute even thought its gross not to mention the smell sickens me and to think that I ate it raw last year!

After that I went to coffee bean again to meet up with Hilary and Sharon, enjoyed a cup of Vanilla ice blended there. Drinking at coffee bean sure is eating up my wallet, I gave a complete crash course to Sharon even though I didn’t know how from the basic of drawing to the uses of different media and the tips and tricks of cheating in art and positioning.

After that I went to gym with Hilary, we shuffled at the audience sitting in font of the tennis court and gave him sum teaching again, after that I went gym for like five minutes and got bored and went down to the squash court to practice my shuffle alone until Vern pops up and I ended up giving her lessons on shuffling also.

The second best part about today is during the drive to the cinema and away from the cinema. We were like five minutes late and Joseph was speeding all the way down form Beverly and manages to make it to the movie just when it was in the intro. We watched the 300 which is a movie about 300 Spartans against an army of a million Persian. Taken from a comic book which is based on the Greek history with a little bit of editing. The best action movie of the year and it actually made senseless killing movie look WOW!

On the way back we went to Foh Sang to eat “san yuk mee” at the middle shop which is now known as the middle shop on the right because they shift from the left to the right… like so….

Coffee bean my new school

Wasn’t today productive, I almost froze my self to death in coffee bean after sitting in there for five hours drinking mocha ice blended. On the other hand I manage to learn a lot of stuff from a photoshop tutorial, just like attending class except it cost like rm15 for WiFi and the mocha ice blended plus I pay like 150% more attention then I did in normal classroom. *hooray for coffee bean

I learn advance vectoring, photo editing, touch up, hot keys, template design, button design and tab design in like five hours. And the end came out to this, btw big shout out to Hilary for passing his driving test.

New Stickers

The terrible heat wave continue for another two more days and I think my air-con is over heating from running like 24/7. Yesterday didn’t manage to blog cause some one made me terribly blurred and had to help my dad complete his project portfolio. We cleaned up Glory hall on Sunday for the new carpets which is going to be installed in; hopefully I can see it on Wednesday when they are installing it. During the clean up we manage to flour Melvin with flour, he totally look like a ghost and he counter attack with a jug full of water.

I think I am going to catch a flu again… damn weather cant it just stay raining everyday. Today went to karamunsing with Vern and walk round and round and round and round and ended up buying nothing. I actually wanted to get my laptop fix and buy a new mouse. My laptop’s DVD drive have been making weird noises when it runs a disk which spoils the whole speaker so now have to send it to Kuala Lumpur to get the drive replace with a new one.

Came home and the power was out so we went out to eat dinner, it was good if it wasn’t for the lousy food. Please do not go to restaurant K.L Lee, their vegetable is over cook and rice is so damn expensive not to mention the satay is cold and the “lobak” is over fried.
Beside that I manage to replace my old hand carve sticker on my laptop with a new printed sticker.

Killing heat

What a hot hot hot day, so hot that it made me lose my mood not to mention the boring bengkel. Went there my self and I was so lucky that I brought my earphones so that I could listen to my radio on the hand phone. Besides that, I fell asleep in class *as always! The workshop was pretty boring, they thought us everything we learn in KHB during form 3 or was it form 2… aint sure it’s been like so long ago.

I learn hw to drive up hill when your car suddenly stalls! *amaze! The other student was a girl and she was like “omg omg omg!! I don’t dare!” lucky our tutor is a good one, good old Mr Chong he even spent us lunch.

Got piss off during my only one hour of gaming at CX cause some players didn’t know the meaning of backing up. Then dinner, which I made Darryl angry…. *srry…
Well youth wasn’t the best… I was in charge of youth challege today, wasn’t really up for the challenge to lead it cause was quite tired after the workshop or mindless staring. I still manage to pull up the face and lead it quite well I recon. “honey if u are going to marry me, please smile” that’s the phrase for the game, get as many wife or husband under three minutes.

Theory begone Now!

I finally pass! As people say, third time’s the charm. I really got to thank my friend Hilary, he really help me this time. Cheating on your theory test in road safety! Priceless!
We went to town together catch a quick breakfast and walk down to Rilek centre to under go the test. I got to admit, really blur as it was a Friday morning and hell knows when I took my last test (should be a year ago) and I didn’t even study for it. I took the tryout just to be safe, first test “okiez…. What’s this about again? Oh yeah… Theory on road safety. (Tick) = Failed 80% *crap Second test “I think I am getting the hang of it, hmm what does this do? (Tick) (Tick) (Tick) = Failed 63% *wtf?! Third test “arghh…. So tired, eyes… burning…. (Tick) (Tick) = Failed 74% *improving.

Got so tired I went straight for the real test at the next room. Oh boy… I was so nervous! My name got called out and I was sent to computer number 3. So it went like this (tick) (tick) (tick) *takes out hand phone*

As Digi said “The power’s in your hands” SMS rocks! After that we went to centre point to catch a movie “Norbit” the horror and tragic comedy of an Eddie Murphy gone totally wrong. After that I went for a second movie with Darryl “A wonderful life” Cantonese movie about a thunder god who went down to earth to help a mortal, quite a nice comedy and stupid actions. Went for dinner with her parents at Ocean Seafood restaurant, I have to say their food really come in small portion now a days and it was my first time eating lobster.

Went home around 11, got online Elaine and Bev suddenly pop up. Counseled the two blur girl and gave them a personality quiz which my dad force me to do before applying for collage. Bev is just so blur! Hahaha nice meeting her though, friendly person who I suggest taking socializing work.

I love being employed "again"

I am back on the job again! After a month break from designing at home and at church office, my life was pretty dull. So now I am back at my part time job of doing maintenance, designing and office boy duty. Isn’t working at church just fun?

Good news is that JAM poster and fliers are out, I got to admit it really doesn’t impress me since it was done under like 20 min after 2 hours of deciding and stupid placement of the pictures. Just placing the pictures, cropping and satirizing it to a nice color isn’t easy. I really got to get my hands on Photoshop CS2 a.s.a.p. my work wasn’t done to perfection this time as they were rushing me to faster finish it by 3 so they can have it printed and cut for this coming Saturday. At the end they kept saying how nice it is and stuff. All I could say was “stop adding sugar already! I like a little sugar but that’s just way too much until it totally sucks” (if only I dare say that out) all I did was put a little smile.

I got skipped by Vern today at gym! You owe another dinner now, work out on the tread for 30 minutes, kept pushing my self even thought it hurts to run for that long but in the end I felt pretty good as a good sweat just makes my day. Besides that I found a nifty little spot below the gym where I can practice my shuffle, wooden floors with a reflecting glass all you need is a woofer and some speakers not to mention a little dim lighting.

Moving In

It took me one day to move into Blogger and it was a confusing job. I do admit Blogger is really cool with editable templates and stuff but it’s also a lot more confusing and harder than xanga. It took me like 2 hours just to read the entire tutorial on html coding and I still don’t get! And especially no thanks to the tutorial on my dream weaver which just made it ten times more confusing than I previously was.

At least now company is starting to understand the importance of video tutorial! Visual is so much better than words, so don’t ask me why I took up art’s rather than a big book on medical science I would just faint on the floor.

Even thought with all those high tech tutorial online I still wish for some one to teach me html coding hands on. So anyone out there who know how to do coding please pm me.
